We have an exciting opportunity for a Research Assistant with the National Centre for Farmer Health to assist the multidisciplinary NCFH research team with conducting and reporting on two Rapid Review projects.
The role will require an immediate start and include working collaboratively with Project Coordinator, library staff and other NCFH Research Staff to identify, collate, interpret and analyse relevant peer-review and grey literature and contribute to the reporting of reports for the funder and for peer-review.

We have an exciting new role within the National Centre for Farmer Health, for a Snapshot Online Project Officer and will be responsible for content creation and interactive aspects of the new #SnapshotRuralVic innovative project.

#SnapshotRuralVic aims to encourage and empower rural Victorians to share their stories of how they are supporting the emotional wellbeing and mental health of themselves and those around them. This will occur through a variety of easily accessible mediums including photography, text, sound recording, and short video type representations shared widely on social media. This position will involve the development of relevant and user-friendly content for the, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and other online communications such as the farmer health E-Newsletters.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Program Assistant with the National Centre for Farmer Health to assist the multidisciplinary NCFH research team in the development, implementation and evaluation of research projects.

The role will work closely with the NCFH Program and Data Coordinator and Business Development and Industry Engagement Manager, and be responsible for all the operational aspects of coordinating NCFH programs and events to ensure successful program delivery and reporting of service targets. In addition, availability to travel is a requirement for this role.

You will bring:

  • Minimum education Year 12
  • Minimum administration experience 2 years
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

The successful applicant will promote the National Centre for Farmer Health and its partners Deakin University and Western District Health Service, and grow and support links and partnerships with industry and community.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Research Assistant with the National Centre for Farmer Health to assist the multidisciplinary NCFH research team in the development, implementation and evaluation of research projects.

The role will include day to day administration of research, contributing to applications for research funding, applications for ethics, data collection and analysis, writing for dissemination, peer-reviewed publication, reporting requirements, and assisting or presenting findings with conference and community presentations.

A Bachelor degree or above is required and an understanding of rural health, wellbeing and safety would be highly valued. This position would suit a dynamic person looking for challenging work in a stimulating environment. You will have excellent communication, administration, writing and computer skills with an eye for detail and demonstrated ability to engage with the rural community.
